This week, Tori was found by a homeless guy fishing for coins in a large fountain in Rome.  Well, homeless guy, that’s what you get for stealing people’s wishes.  Everyone knows you aren’t supposed to do that via The Goonies (who never say die).  At least Tori was face up, but she was still dead.  Which is slightly shocking considering the ploy that THEY created for Eleanor. 

You see, they showed a video of a news cast to poor, crazy Eleanor that said Tori was found alive and well.  It even had footage of Ambassador Fairchild saying he was so glad she was home.  But THEY made Fairchild make the fake newsreel.  But why?  What do THEY have on Fairchild that would make it ok that they killed his daughter?

But, the dummy of the week award goes to Joe, he obviously made it super easy to figure out that he’s the inside man with his frequent shenanigans to the sub basement to meet Tom.  But to be fair, he was concerned about his girlfriend Janet.  He’s almost will to withdraw from the program.  BUT WHAT DOES THAT MEAN??? 

The best part of the episode though had to be Bill getting the bejezzus kicked out of him by the new resident of Weird Town.  Can we please give Erika (Kandyse McClure) a round of applause??  And I still love Charlie’s uncaring attitude toward Bill.  Alan Ruck is doing a great job on this show, I root for him every week!

But on a more serious note, there is something up with Bill.  I realize I was wrong about who the inside man was, because I said that it was Eleanor.  But in my defense, I said that Joe was way too obvious of a choice.  So I still kinda called it.  But regardless, Bill is definitely a cop or a detective, or even a private investigator.  There is something about him giving off that vibe.  I guess we’ll have to wait and see…

But Erika has Janet’s back.  Should we be worried?  I would be.  However, if I were Eleanor, I would be more worried about making an “ally” in Weird Town.  I realize that the sargeant seems like a nice guy, but she’s already figured out that one of them has to be on the inside.  For all she knows it could be him. 

But in my opinion, remember the tag line from Lost, “Live Together/Die Alone”.  I think it really may mean something to these people.  Sleep in groups, go potty in pairs, and don’t turn the light out at night.  Definitely don’t run into a bank vault!  And I’m thinking you should probably NOT try the duck…  You hear me Joe???

Tonight on the triumphant season premiere of Warehouse 13:

Syfy’s biggest hit ever returns for another round of weird artifacts and unexplained phenomena in Season 2. In case you missed it, “Warehouse” follows a pair of Secret Service agents (Eddie McClintock and Joanne Kelly) as they look after a top-secret storage facility that houses every strange object, souvenir, and relic ever collected by the US government. Tonight, the agents are forced to track down one of their own.

I don’t know about you, but I have been waiting for the return of this show ALL summer.  It’s a fun, way less dark, version of The X-Files.  Kind of like a season 3, Jose Chung’s From Outer Space-esque style show.  If you aren’t catching this show already, be sure to tune in!  There really isn’t a deep underlying mystery to follow, so it’s not to late!

On Memphis Beat tonight:

TNT’s Southern-fried cop show delves into the wacky world of pageants, as the entire squad is on the lookout for a missing beauty queen. Meanwhile, Elvis-loving cop Dwight Hendricks (Jason Lee) helps his ex-wife start her own catering business. As long as she serves peanut-butter-and-banana sandwiches, right, Dwight?

Honestly, I love Jason Lee, but I don’t know how much longer I’m able to actually keep watching this show.  It’s too slow for me, and if it doesn’t pick up this week, it will no longer be a recommended Top TV Pick.  Keep your fingers crossed.

After a gang of drug dealers begins terrorizing a local doctor’s neighborhood clinic, he turns to Michael for help, against his better judgment. But Michael’s got some other pretty serious stuff going on as he gets into a game of cat and mouse with a cold-blooded killer.

Sounds like explosions are expected tonight!

Then on Royal Pains:

Hank saves a hand; Boris health quickly fails after Marisa’s treatment; Divya clashes with Dr. Peck.

Honestly, Boris is being to annoy me.  Why not just kill him off and leave his house to HankMed?

And later on Futurama:

On the latest episode of this animated sci-fi comedy, an unflattering video of Leela makes the rounds online, thanks to Fry. Later, Fry, Leela take a trip to the Third World of the Antares System to deliver e-waste.

This show has always been so clever in its humor.  And in my opinion, it’s far superior to The Simpsons.

Tonight on Sons of Tucson:

Ron sees an opportunity to win back his ex-girlfriend Gina when she asks for his help in moving out of the apartment she shares with her current guy.  Ron formulates a plan and recruits the boys to take part.

I don’t know about you, but Tyler Labine makes my week a little bit happier.  Not many guys on tv rock a full beard, and can even pull it off.  But I think that while he is becoming a bit of a character actor, he’s at least superb at it.  RIP Invasion and Reaper, we miss you both.

Then on True Blood tonight:

Sookie’s search for Bill takes her to Mississippi after Eric enlists a werewolf to protect her; Jason struggles to focus on his police exams; Arlene shares a surprise with Terry; Lafayette reluctantly accepts a gift from a benefactor.

Finally!  We get to see Alcide!  The totally awesome werewolf!  I’m also pleased to learn that Arlene will share her “secret” with Terry!  Good times!

On Scoundrels:

The West family get jobs, which include Cheryl being a grocery-store cashier and Heather working at a burger joint.  However, Cal learns his employment as a pool boy involves some unexpected duties.

On one of my favorite shows, Drop Dead Diva, tonight:

Jane helps with a deportation case involving Teri’s cousin; Tony gets news that could impact his relationship with Jane; Grayson decides to sell his house; and Kim grows closer to Parker.

I realize that this show is on Lifetime, but I love it.  It’s just so hokey!  I honestly could care less about Kim and Grayson’s storylines.  Grayson needs to move on from losing Deb, and Kim needs to quit the show.  Her BS is ruining it for me every week.  Parker, I can deal with, he’s funny, and weird.  But Tony, he definitely adds the right amount of humor and drama to the show.  The actor playing him is great, I loved him on The Office. 

Also on The Gates:

Nick probes the death of the last police chief; Claire wants to put the past behind her; Andie develops feelings for Charlie; Brett tries to resist a tempting offer.

And finally!  On the triumphant season premiere of Hung:

In the second season premiere, Tanya solicits pimping advice from a professional to use as leverage in her partnership with Ray and Lenore.  Meanwhile, budget problems at school threaten to undermine Rays baseball team.

Ooh!  Lenore causing problems for Tanya!  Just like old times.  But honestly, Lenore could fall off a mountain in an episode, I doubt anymore would miss her.

On the series “re”-premiere of Futurama:

Back by popular demand, the animated sci-fi comedy “Futurama” kicks off its sixth season with back-to-back new episodes. In the premiere episode “Rebirth,” a devastating space battle leaves the delivery crew members reduced to skeletons. (Check out Dr. Zoidberg’s best one-liners.) Their only hope for survival is the professor’s experimental rebirth device, but its use results in severe complications. In the second episode, Leela and hunky space captain Zapp Brannigan find themselves stranded, alone and naked, on a Garden of Eden-like planet.

Uh oh!  Sounds like trouble and a whole lot of fun!  The Royal Family has been awaiting this show’s triumphant return for a very long time, and Zapp Brannigan NEVER disappoints!

On Burn Notice tonight:

Michael’s trio is turning into a quartet, and not everyone is happy about it. Later, the stakes are raised higher than expected when Michael and Sam end up entangled in a hostage situation at a local bank, and Fiona helps Jesse track down information about a dead weapons runner.

Jesse is way too close for comfort, in my opinion.  Honestly, Michael shouldn’t have that guy so close to him, it’s gonna end up being the death of someone…

Then on Royal Pains:

Hank researches potentially life-saving gene therapies with another doctor; Divya does not like Hank s temporary replacement.

I don’t think that Hank’s boss choosing to get a new concierge doctor during a diagnosis is a really good idea, but what do I know??

So we opened the show after Grace’s dramatic walk into the sea…  Which was kinda cool for me because I have often wondered what people do once they walk all the way out there.  Seriously, where are they going??  Wouldn’t they be bothered by their shoes and socks getting all soggy and such?  But she’s made it out and she’s on a mission…  A mission from God…  A mission from God in Baltimore???

Thanks to our angelic and beautiful Earl, Grace makes the drive from New Orleans to OK City in 4 hours.  For some reason, this was a big deal to all of the cop friends, I don’t really know why.  You know when your best friend is called Angel Cop, and there are news reports of said friend having a guardian angel, and witnesses to the angel…  Wouldn’t you start believing the stories?  But, hey, who am I to judge?

Well despite all that, we found out that the Lieutenant has opted to name her baby Grace, but conviently not after Detective Grace, the Angel Cop.  Of course not, and she gave a good reason for that, but that’s definitely not the case anymore…

We also found Ham defending Grace’s life style to Butch, in a fist fight filled with so much testosterony…  The real San Francisco treat.  Butch said that Grace was crazy to believe that she had an angel, that she’s crazy, and the department has way more important cases to on which to work.

But I think my favorite scene was Rhetta finding the note that she left for Earl at Neely’s place on Ham’s desk.  The note of course, asked Earl is Grace would survive this.  This comes into play later…

Grace realizes that it isn’t Baltimore, MD that she should be going to and instead heads for a storage facility of its namesake.  She says she’s only going there to store her Angel Cop fanmail.  But she’s there, with the letters, smoking a box of cigars from Earl that he picked up for her to use when she was ready.  Nice.

So Grace is in the storage unit with Evil, who amazingly just walked in out of no-where!  And she procedes to unload her pistol into his chest.  Now she’s out of bullets, and he’ll probably bleed to death.  But this bleeding out death seems more ridiculous than that of Pee-Wee Herman’s (Paul Reuben) death as Leftie in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie.  Yeesh!  The man stood up, and barely winced in pain.

Evil then pulled out Mary Alice’s necklace that Grace wanted to find for Clay, and said he was the one who closed her eyes.  He was the #2 in the OK City bombing!  And yowza!  Grace flicks her holy cigar into a pile of explosive that Evil had mysteriously placed in a gigantic pile in the back of her pickup truck and the place goes up.

We get to end the show with the team pulling our beloved Saint Grace out of the wreckage in a body bag, and the fanmail is unsinged miraculously.  Perhaps because she had promised to read every letter?  Who knows, but it was fairly weird.  Then we see that the engagement ring that Ham purchased for her was tossed into the ether, never to be seen again.  On a cop salary?  Really?

The finale up until that point was dramatic, engaging, awesome, and definitely well done.   The final scene was a little over the top and contrived, but  it was still touching. 

I am praying for the show to make a triumphant return somehow, I realize that Grace was pulled out in a bodybag.  I know, but the untouched pile of fanmail??  Couldn’t she have jumped inside of it??  Maybe?  And the body they pulled out of the wreckage have been Evil’s??  Wishful thinking on my part, I know…

On the second episode of the series, Joy (Jane Leeves) tries to take advantage of her newfound “hotness” in Cleveland by dating a much younger man, while Melanie (Valerie Bertinelli) encourages Elka (Betty White) to date again. The problem? Elka has too many choices.

Tonight on Memphis Beat:

Jason Lee stars as an Elvis-loving, dedicated Memphis police detective, named Dwight Hendricks, who blows off steam as a moonlighting musician. DJ Qualls (“Hustle & Flow”) costars as Dwight’s bumbling protégé, while Alfre Woodard rounds out the cast as Lt. Tanya Rice, who butts heads with Detective Hendricks at every turn. The quirky series can get gritty, but it also doubles as a love letter to the Tennessee city with a bluesy soundtrack, shots of the cityscape at every turn, and, of course, that delicious Southern drawl.

DJ Qualls!  The skinny kid from The New Guy?  Wasn’t he the one who played the Bizarro Crab Man when we met Joy’s half sister?  Fantastic!  A mini My Name is Earl reunion!  Most importantly though, I can’t wait to get Jason Lee back on my television everyweek!  He’s such a great, funny actor and not to mention

The only bad thing about this show is that I’ve heard it is only a miniseries event, and it that case, tell all of your friends to watch it too!  Maybe we can get a whole new season out of it!

So, this week on Persons Unknown we saw that Charlie (Alan Ruck) killed his wife by sufficating her with a pillow.  Was it a sympathy killing?  I mean the woman was bedridden, or was it something way more malicious?  I’m sure that we will find out in the remaining weeks to come.  But one thing is for certain, that “car salesman”, William (Sean O’Bryan) is definitely NO car salesman!  My money is on cop, or someother form of law enforcement.  Not only is the actor packing on some good donut and coffee eating weight, but his little speech at the end of the night tells me he reads people better than he wants everyone else to know.

As for the over dramatized Janet (Daisy Betts) and Joe (Jason Wiles), really?  The writers have nothing better to do than to situate them together for the romance part of the show?  Other than that, I like her whole stance on becoming a shark to wait out the plans of “Them” before her strike.  But honestly, shouldn’t she have not made this plan out loud?  Shouldn’t Joe and Janet be writing things down on paper so the cameras can’t hear them?  Perhaps that just makes too much sense…

So then we find that Eleanor (Lee Purcell) and Graham (Chadwick Boseman) are becoming buddy-buddy this week, which is sort of a leap from Eleanor and Tori (Kate Lang Johnson) and their uber-weird bonding session last week.  Remember the weird butterfly moment?  Now it’s all Islamic couples praying…  If you ask me, there is our ringer. 

Yes, I’m calling it now, Eleanor is the one on the inside.   I know what your saying, “but Grand Duchess of All TV, the inside man has to Joe!”  Seriously, step back for a minute, rewatch the episodes online, and take a look at it from a different perspective.  This guy is a red herring, he’s too much of the obvious choice!   Our insane captive, Eleanor knows way too much perspective on things, like she gets it before it happens.  And the fact that she got a gas mask that she knew was going to be “defective” was all part of the plan.  It’s a clever ploy to win over everyone’s trust.

But like my grandmother always said, “The only thing I ever tell the truth about, is the fact that I lie.”  I can guarantee you that the same goes for Ms. Eleanor…

On the two hour SERIES (I’m INCREDIBLY disappointed in this) finale of Saving Grace this is what we’ll see during the first hour…

Grace isolates herself from family and friends; Butch s friend involves him in a potentially damaging situation; Neely struggles to stay off drugs.

And then on the second hour…

After experiencing a spiritual upheaval, Grace returns to Oklahoma City with a new sense of purpose.

Hmm…  Vague.  Perhaps we’ll finally see the Dog turn into God, and then the show will end.  They really could’ve have made this show go on a bit longer!  It was interesting, fun, and had great watercooler moments!  Boo to the television production company who decided to stop producing this!  Boo!!!

Then on Persons Unknown:

With only three gas masks between them, the hostages argue over who deserves them more in the face of an imminent gas attack.

Persons Unknown has got to be my new favorite summer show!  Kudos NBC for making my summer slightly more bearable!  The excitement, the suspense, the drama, Cameron (Alan Ruck) from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, what more could one ask for in a show?
